Meet Myopia Focus at AAO 2026 in New Orleans

As co-founder of Myopia Focus, I am please to announce that I will be attending AAO 2026 in New Orleans.

I will be available on the ALT Medical Devices Inc - Stand 4403 throughout the AAO Expo from Saturday 10 to Monday 12 October. I am in the fortunate position of being at the show to demonstrate the Occuity AX1 - a new handheld, non-contact axial-length meter, created for the growing myopia management market.

Expanding Myopia Focus in the US

Myopia is a rapidly growing concern for children and families across the United States, but awareness of myopia progression and the options available to manage it remains inconsistent.

Myopia Focus was created to help address that gap by providing parents with clear, accessible and evidence-led information. It also helps families find practitioners offering myopia management and provides clinicians with educational tools and resources that can support conversations with parents.

An increasing proportion of our audience now comes from the US, creating a significant opportunity to expand its practitioner network, develop more US-focused information and work with clinicians and organisations committed to improving myopia awareness.
